About Us
Parents For Positive Change was founded by four parents - Terry, Renee, Deb and Sharon - all parents of children with special needs who attend Birmingham Public Schools. Through our efforts and those of the many families who have joined us, we hope to impact the necessary changes in special education services so that our children can receive the most appropriate education as specified by local, state and federal laws.
